This tour is a wonderful opportunity to visit Pompeii, one of the most important archeological sites in the world. As a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site, the history of this vast area covering 108 acres is remarkable. You can visit with or without a licensed guide. If you need a guide, that can be arranged before the tour for an additional fee. We strongly recommend having a personal English speaking tour guide to make the most of your visit.
Shop & Food
We will begin our drive to Sorrento. During the drive, our local English speaking chauffeurs will entertain you with some stories about the people and culture of the area. We will also stop along some of the scenic lookout points for you to take photos and then accompany you down to the main square of Sorrento. Take your time to explore this beautiful resort town, which was originally built as a terrace overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. Shop around in local stores, enjoy a stroll in the historical part of town, have a delicious gelato, or even a shot of the coast’s famous limoncello.
Scenery & Photo
After leaving Sorrento, we will take you for a drive along the most famous and beautiful coastlines in the world, hilly roads with gorgeous views until we reach the village of Positano. Positano’s geographical location contributes to making it a place that is rich in history and natural beauty. While driving through these hills, your chauffeur will of course, stop in different locations to let you admire the view, and take some memorable photos. Your chauffeur will drive down “Viale Pasitea,” a winding one-way street that forms a loop around the center of Positano. You will be parked near Piazza “Dei Mulini,” which is the very last point that is accessible by vehicle. From this point, you will need to walk for about one hour to fully enjoy all of the picturesque homes and shops. While doing so, you will be pleasantly surprised to find yourself very close to the gorgeous waterfront. Positano is known internationally for its apparel. The town is full of small and elegant clothing boutiques, all situated along both sides of the streets. After this exciting tour is complete, your chauffeur will drive you back to your residence. On the drive back, you can enjoy some more scenic views while you reminisce about the day’s activities and experiences.
