Amalfi Cathedral is a 9th-century Roman Catholic structure. It is dedicated to the Apostle Saint Andrew. Predominantly of Arab-Norman Romanesque architectural style, it has been remodeled several times, adding Romanesque, Byzantine, Gothic, and Baroque elements.

Ravello, the Cathedral of Ravello, which stands on a high podium in piazza del Vescovado, is dedicated to S.Pantaleone and was founded in 1086 by the first bishop of Ravello.

Positano is internationally known for its clothing and can satisfy many shoppers with its variety of innumerable elegant boutiques.

One of the major centers of ceramic production in Italy has been Vietri sul Mare in the Amalfi Coast, together with Positano.

The local earth, rich in clay and volcanic content, has been used to produce ceramics for thousands of years. Today, some of the finest ceramics are produced on the Amalfi Coast. The artists take inspiration by the surrounding natural beauty of landscape.
